Bracelets Headed to Iraq E-mail received on March 1, 2005 from Nigel Booker, a Captain in the British Army being deployed to Iraq on the 19th of March. Nigel, our thoughts are with you. “Firstly I whole heartedly support the cause, and secondly I am a Captain in the army responsible for 92 men and women. I will wear one, my Staff Sergeant will wear one and my Platoon Sergeant will wear one. If anyone asks what they are for, and I'm sure they will, then they will be educated accordingly. I am hoping that by having my chain of command supporting the cause, then my scared, homesick and sometimes aggressive soldiers will see the sense in the message I'm trying to portray. God Bless and keep up the excellent work. I will even be able to e-mail you pictures of 'support from your allies in the Middle-East' if you would like.”
